Brembo PR 17 RCS Corsa Corta RR Radial Front Brake Master Cylinder
Machined from billet, the new Brembo RCS CORSA CORTA RR (RCS CC RR) has been modified to make it lighter and even more similar to the racing versions. The hard oxidized finish, in titanium grey, ensures outstanding wear resistance and extremely low friction between moving parts. It comes in a darker color than the previous version, precisely because of the type of treatment, making it even more similar to the versions used in Moto2 and Moto3.
The new Brembo RCS CORSA CORTA RR continues in the tradition the RCS (Ratio Click System) system introduced 15 years ago on the Brembo 19RCS radial master cylinder, in addition to the recent Corsa Corta innovation of “bite point” adjustment that allows the rider to use a selector located on the top of the master cylinder to select normal, sport or racing, to achieve the perfect riding feeling to their preference.
The Brake (Right side) RCS Corsa Corta RR line is available in 19mm, 17mm and 15mm piston sizes allowing the rider to select the master cylinder size most appropriate for their calipers and motorcycle model.
- Brembo 17 RCS Corta Corta Adjustment allows fulcrum to piston distance of 19x20mm or 19x18mm Ratios
- Piston Diameter Size is 17mm
- Adjustable Lever Ratio of 17x20 or 17x18
- Adjustable Lever Idle Stroke (Normal , Sport , Race)
- Adjustable Lever Distance
- Adjustable 3 Brake Positions Normal Mode , Sports Mode & Race Mode
- Normal Position setting indicated by letter N the grabing point is natural like you would expect from you stock master cylinder, suitable for city riding or wet conditions.
- Sport Position Setting indicated by letter S the grabbing point is shorter than the Normal setting and is more dynamic , best suitable for agressive sport riding or higher skilled rider.
- Race Position Setting indicated by letter R , shortens the cam mechanism closest initiating the grabbing point of pads virtually immediately . Setting best suited for track riding where very aggressive braking is necessary
- Includes Folding Lever just like its predecesor 17RCS however this is now a CNC machined lever.
- Dual Disk Requirment
- Includes Mechanical Mircroswitch
- 5 Axis Forged Aluminum Housing which is Hard Anodized to ensure impecable wear resitance and low friction between parts
- Best suited for M50 Calipers , Ducati Panigale 1199,1299 (must have M50 calipers ONLY!) , Yamaha R1/R6 with stock calipers , Aprilia with Brembo M50 , or Kawasaki or Suzuki , must have M50 calipers or seals will be blown and NO BRAKING WILL RESULT !

The piston, gaskets and push rod of the RCS master cylinders are the same as the master cylinders used by almost all MotoGP and Superbike champions, characterised by very stringent machining tolerances and excellent smoothness.
The RCS CORSA CORTA is a further evolution of the radial master cylinder concept, combining numerous innovations with the technical solutions implemented in the master cylinders used in MotoGP. The main innovation is the possibility of adapting the position of the braking bite point, to achieve the perfect riding feeling, using an easily accessible selector located on the top of the master cylinder.
The selector can be set to one of three different feeling maps by means of a cam:
NORMAL map - identified by the letter N, this setting provides a more gradual initial phase and is suitable for driving in city traffic or braking in low-grip conditions.
SPORT map - identified by the letter S, this setting shortens the initial phase, compared to the N setting, for more dynamic response and a sportier ride.
RACE map - identified by the letter R, this setting shortens initial phase to even further to the minimum equal to that of the master cylinders used in MotoGP. This third map is ideal for a racing riding style.
The Red Dot Award: Product Design is one of the most important design competitions in the world. Engineers and manufacturers from 55 countries took part in the competition submitting more than 5,500 products in 2019. The international panel of experts from various backgrounds has been meeting for over 60 years to select the best projects of the year. During a selection process lasting several days, they test the products, discuss them and finally come to an agreement based on the design quality of the submitted projects. True to the motto “In search of good design & innovation”, their ranking focuses on criteria that include innovation, functionality, formal quality, longevity and ergonomics.
