 What is Spindle Bobbins Crash Protection?

Projecting from the driveline side of the R 1200 RT, the nylon bobbin head and aluminum centralizing spacer shields the rear of the Cardan drive shaft casing, hub, and wheel. Made from injection-molded nylon, the bobbin head sits upon an aluminum centralizing spacer and rotates with the wheel to minimize impact damage on one area and reduce stress on the wheel. A machined and texture-coated aluminum hub stop on the non-drive side complements the motorbike’s stylish design.

Returns & Exchanges

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 30 business days of receipt. While we offer a hassle-free return policy, some non-defective items may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Returns due to manufacturer defects will be accepted only if the customer provides photographic evidence showing the issue was not caused by misuse.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 24–48 hours to the original payment method (minus shipping fees). Please allow an additional 2–8 business days for the refund to appear on your account.
