What is Spindle Bobbin Crash Protection?
Evotech Performance have developed EP Spindle Bobbins to guard the front fork lowers, brake calipers and rear cardan drive shaft. Fitting neatly through the front wheel of the BMW R 1200 R, the front protection is mounted via a supplied stainless steel spindle with rolled threads and all fasteners included. At the rear wheel, the innovative drive shaft protection is simple to install: grease, insert and tighten. The wheel’s offside is completed by a precision machined and coated aluminium hub stop. The nylon bobbins all hold an aluminium core to offer hard-wearing protection, reducing costly damage to your motorcycle should the unfortunate occur.

Returns & Exchanges

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 30 business days of receipt. While we offer a hassle-free return policy, some non-defective items may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Returned items must be:

Returns due to manufacturer defects will be accepted only if the customer provides photographic evidence showing the issue was not caused by misuse.

Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 24–48 hours to the original payment method (minus shipping fees). Please allow an additional 2–8 business days for the refund to appear on your account.

Before returning any item, please contact us at support@motostarz.ca or call 1-236-481-2222 to obtain a return authorization number. This number must be clearly marked on both the inside and outside of the package.
