About the P08 With a filtration degree of 80 microns and an impressive airflow of 5,000 l/m²/sec, the P08 is a highly versatile and efficient air filter. It is equally suitable for road use and high-performance applications. Dyno testing on a 4-cylinder 1,000 cc motorcycle (without ECU remapping) showed a gain of +2.5 hp in the mid-range. Sprint Filter P08 filters are available for a wide range of motorcycles and scooters.

Polyester – A Winning Technology Air filters must balance two conflicting requirements: high airflow and effective filtration of harmful particles. Traditional paper filters (fitted to most production bikes) and oil-soaked cotton filters (common in performance applications) both have limitations.

By adopting a polyester membrane filter, Sprint Filter has made a significant technological leap, rendering previous solutions largely obsolete.

Structure Polyester fabric is extremely permeable yet highly durable. It maintains its shape and performance even when folded during manufacturing or subjected to pressure changes during operation. In contrast, cotton filters rely on multiple overlapping layers, which can shift and lose shape over time, resulting in inconsistent filtration.

Efficiency Independent dyno tests on a 1,000 cc four-cylinder bike showed an increase of 2.5 hp in the mid-range without any remapping. University flow-bench testing confirmed that Sprint Filter polyester filters outperform both cotton and sponge filters in airflow while maintaining excellent filtration.

Maintenance Maintenance is quick and simple. For normal cleaning, use compressed air in the opposite direction of airflow. For heavily soiled filters, wash with a mild household detergent, rinse thoroughly, and allow to air dry completely. Do not oil.
